March 2006 - Export Programme Increases Turnover
The end of the UK Public Services financial year has also coincided with a number of major orders from overseas customers, increasing NBC turnover dramatically. Stuart Adamson, Operations Director at the NBC Group confirmed that the effort involved in setting up a new company was paying off - "All of the hard work done by the Directors and sales team over the last 18 months has borne fruit not just with the UK emergency services but it would seem that we have been recommended abroad too. This is a remarkable achievement by such a young company but with our attention to corporate governance, our reduced pricing and our pride in customer service, it's no wonder we have taken orders from Finland, Belgium, France, Turkey, Cyprus and Poland in the 1st quarter of 2006.
We still have ongoing product demonstrations in Singapore, Australia and the USA. The NBC Group of companies are in good shape!"
January 2006 - Quality Management System Certification
NBC are proud to confirm that they have been granted certification for ISO 9001:2000. Dave Watson, Commercial Director at the NBC Group confirmed that this achievement was not easy to come by and only been secured after months of preparation and fine tuning of internal systems - "What makes me particularly proud is the comments made by our customers in the Customer Satisfaction Surveys recently completed. Whilst we have a complaint system in place it really hasn't been tested. When NBC was set up, one of its' main objectives was to be different, to offer a level of service not offered by our competitors. It seems that our hard work has paid off"

November 2005 - Merseyside Police Body Recovery Exercise
NBC are proud to have participated in the latest "Body Recovery Training Day" held at Altcar Rifle Range and run By Merseyside Police. Dave Watson, Commercial Director of the NBC Group was particularly pleased to have been invited - "This training day gave NBC further opportunity to use our new range of TM frame shelters in a true to life working scenario. This particular day's weather was awful with wind-speeds of approx 45mph, and the TM tent was secure with no movement at all. It was also nice to see 80 Police Officers use the tent for briefing, showing the capacity of the mid range 36 sqm unit. I was very happy with our comparisons to the existing units currently used by the Police service". Following the success of the joint exercise, NBC would like to consider new invitations from any other Emergency Services to show the new range of TM frame shelters. June 2005 - Hampshire Ambulance NHS Trust
NBC have delivered the first TM frame unit to the UK Emergency Services. Hampshire Ambulance NHS Trust became the proud owners of a TM54 Unit, offering a massive extension to their casualty clearing facilities. As the unit is multifunctional the unit can also be utilised as a full 3 stage decontamination system, field hospital, temporary office space etc. Training was given to all of the Trust's staff within just 4 hours as the 54sqm unit is a rapid deploy system and so can be erected within just 5 minutes by 3 people!
