NBC Group has developed the DECONTAINER™ as the latest advancement in emergency decontamination units. The DECONTAINER™ is the first of its kind manufactured for the NHS and was developed in partnership with NHS Scotland.

The new technology is currently being delivered to 16 health boards across Scotland; however, bespoke versions can be tailored to meet the specific needs of operational Ambulance Decontamination teams.

The system is divided into three compartments; disrobe area, wet decontamination area and re-robe/check area and is designed for ease of use, patient modesty, speed of deploy, and minimal training. With a 10 year life expectancy, the units are a truly cost effective alternative to traditional soft wall decontamination
