Hospital Based Decon Provider Course - 1 Day

Together with current NHS CBRN experts, NBC have successfully developed and run our Hospital Based Decon Provider Course and CBRN Managers Course. Available at your Acute Trust site or at our facilities here in Cheshire, these enjoyable and informative courses are always well received by candidates who attend.

Hospital Based Decon Provider Course - Half Day

We appreciate that some Trusts simply don't have the flexibility of removing 6 staff from duty for a full day. With this in mind, NBC have developed a half day course designed to meet the demands of ensuring minimum standards with removal of key staff from duty. The half day course gets to the heart of a CBRN/Hazmat incident by practicing Skill Station work through from the inflatable MDU to the PRPS suits. At the end of the half day each candidate will have a full understanding of what he/she will need to do to ensure full survivability within their Acute Trust environment. This course is also suitable as a 6 monthly refresher for Trusts that have already held a more extensive 1 day course.

CBRN Managers Course

The course is designed for NHS Managers within an Emergency Planning and CBRN environment. It promotes an understanding of the duties, roles and responsibilities of a Hospital based Decontamination Team when responding to incidents involving contamination of patients.
